Come to our first guest speaker weekly meeting of the quarter w/ Mike Byron (VP of Finance and Systems @ NVIDIA)! He will be speaking about his career path and answer any questions you may have.
About him: Mike graduated from UCSB in 1987 with a B.A. in Business Economics. Following his time at UCSB, Mike began as a full-time accountant at Eagle’s View Management Company and later went on to work at Deloitte in their audit practice. He’s held many executive-level positions at companies such as CISCO, and most recently has been working as the VP of Finance Operations and Systems at NVIDIA. NVIDIA is a publicly-traded corporation with a market cap of $706.56 billion as of March 2022, earning just over $16 billion in revenue last year. Mike also holds various board positions, including his current role on the UCSB Department of Economics Advisory Board.
